A classic specimen of Siderite on matrix from the famous Pribram region of the Czech Republic. This is a good example featuring the typically compressed golden-brown rhombohedra of Siderite on drusy grey Quartz with minor reddish Sphalerites. This is one of only a handful of pieces of this species that we've seen, and comes with an old 18th Century label from the Czech National Museum, PLUS a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
