Item Description

Exceptional cluster of stacked, intergrown Siderite rhombs coated by Limonite, all growing on a 4.8 cm Smoky Quartz spearpoint. The Siderites are geometrically arranged, comprising a curving tower of rhombs that rises above a basal plate of Siderites. Very attractive. The largest Siderite is about .9 cm on edge. There are a number of nicks on some of the corners, but they actually add to the interest of the piece by exposing the Siderite below the Limonite, creating contrast. If you look at the bottom, where the Smoky Quartz spearpoint is, you can see numerous long Schorl needles growing through the matrix. Very aesthetic and glamorous in its own way.
