Item Description
Botryoidal siderite is extremely rare from the famous mines of Bolivia. This very showy, two-sided, mounded piece is composed of grape-like clusters of two sizes of botryoids. The balls are moderately lustrous and are brownish-green. I particularly like the way the three largest balls on the crest of the piece. Broken siderites at the base reveal that they are lustrous, translucent, golden-amber. The matrix is quartz crystals and micro pyrites. Rare material from the Huanuni Mine and the Larry Krause dealer stock.
