Item Description

Gemmy golden-yellow, striated, tabular, tapered siderite rhombohedrons, to 1.6 cm, are aesthetically clustered with RARE style quartz crystals from the famous Morro Velho gold mine. The translucent, terminated quartz crystals, to 2.1 cm, are richly included and coated with green chlorite. Siderite is a signature species from the well-known locale. Most quartz from here is colorless. Classic and rare in this quality older combination material probably from the 1970s finds.
