Item Description

This piece was mined in 2001, and to the best of my knowledge, no more specimens were found. This specimen is a very beautiful, aesthetic crystal group of dark greenish brown, sharp, highly modified compressed rhombohedra of Siderite free of matrix. The piece is essentially a "floater" with no point of attachment. I especially like the way the "discs" are stacked upon one another like poker chips. This is a highly displayable, aesthetic specimen with crystals measuring up to 2.3 cm.
