Siderite

Item Description

Siderite is not often seen in collector specimens from Rapid Creek. This area is only accessible for a few months per year and is rather treacherous terrain for collecting specimens. This piece is filled with sharp, lustrous, gemmy, rhombic crystals of tan to golden brown Siderite on matrix. The largest Siderite measures 6 mm across I have not seen many of these specimens on the market in the last few years, so don't pass this one up. It's a rich coverage of crystals.
