Item Description

Mined in 2001. This specimen is a very beautiful, aesthetic crystal group of fairly large, dark greenish brown, sharp, highly modified compressed rhombohedra (sometimes referred to as "disc"-shaped crystals) of Siderite associated with minor Pyrite. I especially like the way the "discs" are stacked upon one another like poker chips. This is a highly displayable, aesthetic specimen, and has a large amount of intergrown crystals (most specimens from the find had three or four crystals grown together), but the MOST important aspect is the fact that these crystals are on matrix, and only handful of them came out on matrix.
