Item Description
Shigaite is an ULTRA-RARE aluminum manganese sulfate. This showy and excellent thumbnail features a gemmy, 9mm, tabular, hexagonal, dark cherry-red shigaite crystal aesthetically placed atop a mounded clusters of very sparkly, transparent, rose-red rhodochrosite crystals, which are RICHLY sprinkled with gemmy, cherry-red, micro shigaite crystals. This piece comes from a small recent find and is highly representative of both species. Valued $400-500.
