Item Description
Excellent and large (1.6 cm) single crystal of Shigaite that is highly lustrous, gemmy, and bi-colored. You don't often find a Shigaite this large, nor this attractive (when you can see it easily, that is). A very fine thumbnail specimen with style due to its iridescence. When these were found, they rocked the mineralogical world as they blow away the previous known shigaites (micros!). I have seen thumbnails of this quality valued all over a large range, But I think realistically $750-950 should be fair here
