Item Description
A rare, colorful and sculptural pseudomorph from a small 2011 find at this less well-known abandoned open pit copper mine, where artisenal collectors sometimes find specimens. Blue shattuckite has pseudomorphed or partially replaced sharp green dioptase crystals, that richly and attractively line the interior of the curved specimen. The crystals reach 1.0 cm on this rich, showy and very uncommon pseudomorph. Scattered patches of malachite are a nice accent. A must for the pseudomorph, species or locality collector.
