A sharply terminated, very impressive, 1.0 cm, primary malachite crystal is aesthetically set in the sculptural vug in milky quartz. Glassy, water-clear, stepped-growth, quartz lines much of the vug and encloses some of the powder-blue to medium-blue shattuckite botryoids. This quartz lining is highly-prized for the beauty it imparts to the shattuckite. This particular combination, with the isolated malachite crystal, is highly sought after for its beauty and rarity.
