Item Description

Shattuckite is an uncommon copper silicate named after the Type Locality Shattuck Mine at Bisbee. A sculptural 3.5 cm vug is lined with pretty powder-blue, banded shattuckite and is filled with darker blue shattuckite botryoids with a very sparkly overgrowth of drusy quarz. There is another 2.0 cm vug on the side, as a nifty bonus. The vugs sit in massive, smoky quartz, which is a very nice contrast to this showy and excellent specimen from the Charlie Key dealer stock. Highly representative combination material from this find. The architecture and color of the sparkly vugs are beautiful.
