Item Description
Shattuckite is an uncommon copper silicate named after the Type Locality Shattuck Mine at Bisbee. A sculptural vug is lined with pretty powder-blue, banded shattuckite and is filled with shattuckite botryoids with a very sparkly overgrowth of drusy quarz. The vug sits in massive, smoky quartz, which is a very nice contrast to this showy and excellent specimen from the Charlie Key dealer stock. Highly representative combination material from this find. The architecture and color of the sparkly vug is beautiful.
