Shattuckite and Quartz with primary Malachite

Item Description

Fine, classic pocket of beautiful, well-formed Shattuckite in Quartz from the great Kaokoveld Plateau. This pocket of velvety, blue Shattuckite is 2.5 cm long, with the largest botryoid being 1.2 cm across. This botryoid is exposed so you can easily see the Quartz crystals under the dome and actually coating the underside of the Shattuckite. This association seems to frequently be the case. There is minor Primary Malachite, as well. A very good, aesthetic piece, that well represents the locality.
