Shattuckite and Quartz included by Shattuckite

Item Description

Rich, very attractive coating of intense blue Shattuckite covering several sides of the massive Quartz matrix. The velvety Shattuckite either covers the flat surfaces, or exists in small pockets of rolling carpet of microcrystals. What makes this specimen particularly special are the numerous minute, clear Quartz crystals (2-3mm in size) that are growing on the Shattuckite in one area of the display face, as well as the drusy Quartz adjacent. When you see these brilliant blue, jewel-like little Quartz crystals included by the Shattuckite (as these crystals are), they simply glow a beautiful deep blue color - all set against the background sparkle of sugary drusy quartz o velvety shattuckite. Very aesthetic and uncommon in quality, this is a superb example from finds of 2 years ago
