Shattuckite and primary Malachite

An aesthetic specimen with a well-placed, sculptural vug in a piece composed entirely Shattuckite and Malachite. The velvety Shattuckite pocket is 1.8 cm across, and contains a deep-green, highly lustrous 1 cm primary Malachite crystal (formed on its own, and not as the more common replacement of azurite). An excellent, highly representative miniature for this famous locality.
