Item Description

Shattuckite is an uncommon copper silicate named after the Type Locality Shattuck Mine at Bisbee. A 6.0 cm vug is lined with pretty cornflower-blue, banded shattuckite and is filled with shattuckite spheroids and primary malachite. The massive, milky quartz matrix is a very nice contrast to this showy and excellent CABINET specimen from the Charlie Key dealer stock. Highly representative combination material from this find.
