Shattuckite and Malachite on Quartz

A really nifty and striking combination thumbnail from recent finds in Namibia. Three spheroids of powder-blue shattuckite are nicely set on the side of a chatoyant, acicular, malachite. The beautiful combination is dramatically impaled on a quartz crystal! Complete all-around, I believe this super thumb is essentially pristine. There may be contacting on the shattuckite and malachite, but there is very, very little brusing, if any.
