Item Description
Shattuckite is a rare copper silicate hydroxide mineral with formula Cu5(SiO3)4(OH)2. It was actually first discovered at Bisbee, but is best-known today in specimens from Africa. This one is from Namibia, particularly from Kaokoveld. But this one is from a very unusual locality, Mesopotamia (also in Namibia). It features a shallow pocket with deep blue-green balls of shattuckite
