Item Description

An Excellent, large and complete natural pocket cavity of beautiful, baby-blue Shattuckite. This large (7 cm), delicate pocket is completely coated with this velvety Shattuckite, creating a field of what looks like blue botryoidal snow. Very cool. Deep in the pocket there is a dusting of Malachite in the recesses. There is even a 2 cm, Shattuckite-encrusted stalactite that runs through the pocket. In the cross-section of that stalactite and at the edges of the pocket, you can see the multigenerational deposition of the shattuckite, in several layers, with the powdery blue atop. A very fine, quality example!
