Item Description

A very attractive display specimen from the copper deposits in the Kaokoveld Plateau in Namibia. This small cabinet piece is a solid gropu of velvety radial groups of beautiful blue colored Shattuckite, free of matrix. The laregst sphere measures about 2.1 cm across. No major damage and very attractive in person . If you're a fan of secondary ore minerals, or copper bearing species, this is good quality Shattuckite, so don't miss out, as few of them are available on the market these days. Ex Charlie Key personal collection. Charlie is arguably the most successful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
