Item Description
A LARGE, rare and impressive 6.7 cm Sterling Mine willemite crystal. The sharply terminated, slightly translucent, lustrous, pinkish-brown trigonal crystal is accented with three willemite side car crystals and contrasting sections of jet-black franklinite crystals with a seam of massive calcite. One termination face of the large crystal is contacted, but is otherwise pristine. Bright neon-green and red fluorescence, as you would expect. From the Ted Bartels Collection. RARE, old-time 270-degree material of superb quality, a rare large crystal and very seldom on the market. Valued at $300-500.
