Item Description
Three, sharp, extremely elongated, tetrahexahedral silver crystals are dramatically perched atop matrix on this aesthetic and sculptural old-timer from Copper Country. The large crystal is 1.8 cm long and the crystals have a nice patina. The striking "arm" with two "fingers" of flattened spinel-twinned silver crystals really adds pizzazz. The base of piece has epidote coatings and includes both silver and copper, making this a desirable "halfbreed." Copper Country silver crystals of size and form are RARE and this is an exceptional example. Comes with a Ron Sohn label, an Ohio dealer of the 1970s and 80s. From an East Coast Collection. Valued $1250-1500.
