Exceptional, aesthetic crystallized copper from the Chino Mine. Sharp tetrahexahedrons with a nice patina compose this very sculptural floater small cabinet with overall spinel-twinned form. The sharp crystals reach 1.0 cm and the bit of embedded quartz is a fine accent to this outstanding 360-degree specimen. The form is exemplary. The piece has a fine provenance. Previously in the Robert Dickie Collection and then in the collections of New Mexico specialists, Tom Massis and Chris Cowan.
