Item Description
A striking, modified octahedral carrollite thumbnail from a New Find at this well-known lcale. The splendent silver-metallic crystal has remarkable form and the superb luster that is characteristic of this rare Cu-Co-Ni sulfosalt. This very fine 360-degree crystal is in fine shape. The two primary frontal display faces have only a trivial bit of edge wear. A side face is partially contacted where another crystal once lay, but with very little actual damage. Even the base of the crystal is partially terminated. This new find resets the modern standard! The size, high quality and form still rate this as an exceptional thumbnail specimen. Here is your chance to obtain a very fine carrollite octahedron at a very reasonable price point. valued $400-500
