Item Description

Rich turquoise-blue color on this sharp, lustrous, slightly translucent textbook triclinic amazonite crystal from the Kola Peninsula. The crystal is complete all-around and pristine. Amazonites of this sharpness and quality are very uncommon from this well-known pegmatite deposit. The scattered embedded microcline is a nice contrast.
