Item Description

Dramatically sculptural polished two-sided meteorite slab with striking cross-hatched and herringbone patterns. The Seymchan meteorite was discovered in 1967 in Siberia. It is classified as a coarse octahedrite stony-iron pallasite. The patterns are mesmerizing and robust! These are remarkably stable, as well. This particular specimen has no olivine or other impurities and is pure metal. Mass is 12.8 grams.
