Item Description

A very uncommon for the locale, large sliced and polished serpentine group nodule, from a locality known for nephrite jade. The olive-green color and scaly/knobby appearance are characteristic of the rock type. Seldom on the market, this is often referred to as "California Jade" though is not true jade, or is rather a mix of related rocks. Suitable for lapidiary material or as a mineral specimen. 1438 grams or 3.2 pounds.
