Serpentine Carving, Owl (136 grams)

This good sized, showy piece was hand carved in Peru by locals who have found this great Serpentine rock very useful for creating some beautiful objects. This owl carving is by no means small, and really has some weight to it (136 grams). A wonderfully colorful carving that would look great in a display case. If you're looking for a unique gift idea, I've found that children are really turned on by carvings as well, especially with animals that they immediately recognize.
