Item Description
Serandite is a Holy Grail species from the famed Poudrette Quarry. Two intergrown, blocky tabular crystals with classic salmon-pink color and high luster comprise this aesthetic miniature. The crystals are moderately translucent and the rich scattering of tiny pastel-pink rhodochrosite rhombs and black aegirine sections really adds pizzazz to this excellent specimen. No more have come out in a LONG time. From the Lazlo Horvath Collection, a prominent Canadian collector. Ex Wouter Van Tichelen Collection. Valued at $900-1100.
