Item Description
A beautiful crystalline carpet of the sparkling crystals of this very weird aluminum phosphate species, senegalite, preserved in a protected cavity of this specimen. The crystals are built up to give us forms like 3-dimensional "worms" and it is very dense in coverage, unusually so for the species from this location. This is an older specimen from the early 2000s, when they first were seen more regularly on the specimen market (although they are now pretty rare, again).
