Item Description
A remarkable 7-piece suite of sharp Senarmontite crystal thumbnails from the Type Locality - the Djebel Haminate Mine in Algeria. Senarmontite is an uncommon antimony oxide. The sharp, gray, translucent octahedrons have waxy lustre. This is a rare species in this quality, and these old specimens were found by the old French exploration service BRGM, prior to the 1950s and even as far back as the 1850s. Odds are, that this was one of the research lots of such specimens found on one of those French expeditions. This is a RARE collection of sharp single crystals.
