Item Description
A sharp, large, euhedral, tannish-grey Senarmontite octohedron from the Type Locality in Algeria - the Djebel Haminate Mine. The crystal actually sems to be two sharp octahedra that merge into one single crystal. This is a fine example of this uncommon antimony oxide. Even with some damage on the back bottom side, it is still a prized thumbnail. Probably from prior to WWII
