Item Description
5 crystals, all sharp and complete octohedra, of this rare species. The Sorbonne probably got these from the early French expeditions to this locality, and they may date to the first material brought hom eand analyzed. We think its likely, anyhow. The mineral is soft, and as they were all kept together in this antique glass vial, they admittedly have edge wear, but still are excellent reference examples
