Item Description

A nice quality display specimen of metallic, deep grey color radial "sprays" of Semseyite set on matrix from the famous Herja Mine in Romania. The quality is good up close as the Semseyites are notably sharp and well-formed. The largest Semseyite group measures 1.7 cm across. Priced at $950 in the inventory. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#8986). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
