Item Description

A stunning, 14.5 cm, transparent "wand" of selenite is very jauntily angled on the matrix plate of starkly contrasting snow-white gypsum blades from the world's most famous selenite (gypsum) locality, Naica - where the legendary "Cave of Swords" is located. The selenite crystal has a spectacular, smoky-rimmed, interior phantom, that runs most of the length of the crystal and highly unusual, preferential, enechelon, stepped-growth patterns. Some very minor left edge bruising is noted, but is a very modest detraction to the overall impact of this impressive specimen. Ex. Consie Prince Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
