Item Description

Selenite of this quality is seldom-seen from the famous quarries at Lockport, New York. It looks like a classic Naica piece, but is not! The striking, doubly terminated crystal is transparent to translucent, beautifully striated, and has a waxy luster. The popcorn dolomite rhombs are a nifty accent. The sloping, parallel-growth terminations are pristine. One side has been sawed and the back is cleaved, but these virtually have no impact on the quality of this excellent selenite crystal.
