Item Description

STRIKING clusters of sharp, lustrous, transparent, radial sprays of Selenite crystals on matrix. Unusually large clear crystals for the locale with individual crystals measuring up to 1.5 cm long and 1 cm wide. A number of Selenite crystals have intriguing bands of inclusions almost at the same level of crystal growth... Possibly indicating changing pocket chemistry. There are a few nicks and missing crystals but given the superb clarity they are mostly invisible without a loupe. Just an exceptional specimen given the crystal size, quality, and form for the old classic locale. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl.
