Item Description
A DRAMATIC, huge, very unusual and pretty LARGE CABINET specimen of selenite from Australia. The large triangular plate formed in two generations as an evaporate from a pool of gypsum-rich water that was run-off from sedimentary bedrock - first, as glassy, colorless crystals, and later, as superimposed, gemmy orange ones. Very nearly pristine, for such dense coverage. Striking and beautiful!
