The superb, totally GEM, well-formed, sapphire-blue color and glassy luster makes this Scorodite single crystal a killer thumbnail! It is the highest level of competitive thumbnail display that you can ask for in the species, and was the finest such in the vast collection of Dr. Erika Pohl (she had approx. 1000 Tsumeb thumbnails, we are guessing, of which this would be among the top top few specimens). This exceptional and large single crystal is complete all around with only the contact at the bottom where it was removed from the vug. Gem Scorodite crystals of this quality are some of the best-of-species and not often will you find Scorodite crystals that match this quality, no matter the size or locality. Note that the color changes between LED, Halogen and fluorescent lighting to various shades of blue and purple. A sharp and exquisite thumbnail crystal!
