Item Description

Scorodite is the rarest of the three Holy Grail species from Mina Ojuela, along with manganoan adamite and legrandite. The very best scorodites came from Mexico years ago, so to come across a specimen now, that contains these small gemmy crystals with such good color and luster, is a real find. I have seen just a very few for sale in 2 decades of looking at Mexican minerals. This would be an important addition to many collections simply for the species-locality representation but it is relatively attractive, too. Valued at $600.
