Scorodite (new find)

Item Description

From the new find a few months ago in China, this piece hosts a predominant, sharp, dark color, very good sized (8 mm) Scorodite crystal surrounded by other Scorodites on matrix. The crystals are translucent to opaque with good luster, and are associated with very minor Pyrite on matrix. This find in the Hezhou area is the only significant find of Scorodite to hit the market in a long time. Valued at $1200 in the inventory.
