Scorodite in elongated prismatic crystals, from Tsumeb?this is magical, rare, and beautiful all in one. Such specimens are VERY VERY rare on the market and this is a superb thumbnail example for the species, for the locality, and just for a pretty display-quality thumbnail, period. I sold this once in the mid-1990s and got it back some time ago with the Irv Brown thumbnail collection I purchased. There are just not many out there, of any quality, for a Tsumeb scorodite. this may be a small specimen to some people, but it is a fullsized competition-level thumbnail ,and a superb piece with relatively large crystals to 1.2 cm (large for this quality) for the species. Scorodite is one of those holy grails of mineral collecting...to find a good one is almost impossible, for any amount of money. This superb thumbnail is one I would treasure, and value highly at $3000 low to 4500 high but not insane.
