Item Description
A sculptural pair of thumbnail scolecite specimens from the famous gneiss quarries at Arvigo. One piece has aesthetic striking dense sprays of lathes, while the other is an artistic parallel-growth cluster of elongated prisms. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 10733 and acquired in the Spring of 1985. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). Here is your chance to get a fine pair of rarely on the market Swiss scolecites. We have never had another for sale.
