Indian Zeolites may be plentiful on the market, but most of these are simply the finest crystallized examples of their respective species in the world. This piece is a great example as it features a fantastic 4.8 cm "ball" of Scolecite comprising radiating acicular crystals of a lovely creamy-beige hue associated with a doubly-terminated group of "sword"-shaped white Stilbite sitting on beige colored Heulandite crystals on matrix. The Scolecite "ball" is undamaged, and is sitting so aesthetically on the top of the specimen! It even features a small Stilbite crystal flaring out of the front. Superb quality, form, arrangement and associations make this a fine and desirable piece of this wonderful material from Nasik. Valued at $1,800 in the inventory.
