Item Description

Fantastically sculptural and aesthetic large 360-degree combination from recent finds at Ahmednagar. A classic diverging spray of very glassy, translucent, elongated, white Scolecite prisms is dramatically accented by a combination floret of minerals on one side and by a few stunning jackstraw scolecite prisms at the base. The floret is composed mostly of intergrown, tabular, creamy Stilbite blades. Fine accessories are the cluster of blocky, tetragonal, mint-green and colorless Apophyllite crystals at a corner and scattered, contrasting white coatings of Mordenite, a Zeolite Group species. All of the many Stilbites appear to be pristine. The outside edge of the Apophyllites is contacted. Certainly trivial detractions to this exceptional combination.
