Item Description
This is an older Indian specimen of a style and combination we do not often see, and it happens to be unusually portable and robust, so that it can be shipped. It features a crescent shaped cluster of sturdy, thick crystals of scolecite, curving around atop a matrix of peach colored stilbite. For reasons of occurence and fragility, most matrix scolecite specimens are large, and too fragile to ship around, while this is a nice display size for many collections and unusually easy to handle. The spray of crystals atop is the purest snow white color, making for a great contrast!
