Item Description

A beautiful display specimen from the Malad Quarry in India featuring a 3.8 cm radial aggregate of white Scolecite aesthetically sitting in a narrow crystal-lined vug, with virtually no damage. The piece was a bit difficult to photograph, but truly looks better in person than the photos might indicate. I realize that Indian Zeolite and associated minerals are common the market, but you must realize that many of these are the FINEST crystallized examples of their respective species on the planet, and they will go down as some of the finest minerals ever found. Were they not so common, they would be amongst the most valuable minerals in the world as well. From the collection of John Arnaud.
