Item Description

This is an attractive display specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. A pair of prismatic, black Schorl crystals forming a set of "rabbit ears" play host to a gemmy, complete, sharp, lustrous, colorless (slightly iron-stained) Topaz crystal. There are also some white bladed crystal of Albite covering the sides of the Schorl crystals as well. Althought one of the Schorls is broken, the piece is still very aesthteic and the other Schorl has a beautiful modified pyramidal termination. Typically the Tourmalines from Stak Nala are sought after for their color combinations, but this piece, despite its lack of color, is a worthwhile referecne specimen from this classic locale.
