Item Description

A wonderful pegmatite association specimen from famous gem producing regions of Pakistan featuring a heavily striated, lustrous, thick black prism of Schorl measuring 4.6 cm associated with little richly red-orange colored crystals of Spessartine aesthetically sitting on blocky off-white Albite matrix. Minor Quartz can be seen on the side / back of the piece as well. The Schorl crystal has very deep "grooves" along the prims faces and a notably stepped termination. Good quality all around, save one spot where another Schorl crystal once grew next to the main crystal.
